22 Week Bumpdate!!

Happy Labor Day to everyone. It is very wet and rainy here so I just might not get out of my PJs. No, hubby and I have errands to run later this afternoon so I'm definitely going to be getting out in the rain. Fun, huh?  We might even get out to officially register for baby boy. I have my fingers crossed because time together is so limited. It might just end up being me registering for baby boy if it doesn't happen today... he may even prefer it that way even though he had so much fun with the wedding registry scan gun. Ha!

Hubby started his season this weekend where the football team lost but seemed like everything went smoothly for his part of the job with the new coaching staff. My team headed up north for a tournament at Notre Dame. We went 2-1 and had a much more positive weekend.

I hit 22 weeks on Friday and definitely feel prego to the point where people notice. The picture was taken in our hotel room, wet hair and all. I'm trying to be consistent and take it on Sundays so you get what you get.

• How far along? 22 weeks 3 days 

• Baby is the size of a... Spaghetti Squash

• Total weight gain: I'm gonna say close to 15

• Maternity clothes? still just the khakis which is all that is needed at this point. I might venture out and look for some jeans since it will be getting cooler here soon... I hope! 

• Stretch marks? none yet!  

• Sleep: sleep has been ok, starting to get up a lot again to use the restroom. As long as I don't stay in bed too long, I'm usually ok as far as my back. 

• Best moment this week:  stronger baby movement. I definitely think I felt baby change complete positions as it was more than just a poke or kick. Kinda cool! 

• Miss anything? the ease of moving quickly. It is weird, some days I don't feel pregnant at all and move GREAT, extra swift. Ha! Then there are days where it I contemplate if the task is worth getting up for or not... usually to go to the bathroom and well, the bathroom always wins. 

• Movement: yes yes yes!!! Daddy can feel them pretty regularly at night.

• Food cravings:  a pregnant friend of mine, who can be found here at her blog -Little Baby Barnett - keeps talking about chocolate milk on Facebook and I gotta have a glass every time I see it. Ha! Yum! She recently ran out of chocolate syrup which would be AWFUL when you have a craving. Her hubby suggested pouring the milk in the syrup bottle and shaking it up...GENIUS!

• Food aversions: none really. 

• Gender: BOY!!!! BOY!!!! BOY!!!!!

• Labor signs: nope

• Symptoms: back pain.. I'm afraid this will last until the end!!

• Belly Button in or out? changing everyday!  

• Wedding rings on or off? On but they felt tight every once in a while. I don't want to take them off!

• Baby Purchases this week? Hubby bought lots! We got 4 packages in the mail and a gift from his mom. Here is what he bought and his mom contributed some of the Iowa State stuff too.  Baby boy is ready to support his teams!!

 

• Looking forward to:  Finally clicking the purchase button on the bedding we've decided on and the cute little rug.
