Wyatt's First Easter

We celebrated Easter on Sunday by sleeping in, taking naps, and just relaxing (don't judge). Wyatt and I didn't get back into town until late and since we had been traveling so much, it was the perfect Sunday recipe.

We did set some time aside to take some pictures of our little man with his little plush Easter basket that Nona and Papa got him. He is starting to grab things and shake them so it was the perfect gift. As far as what Chris and I got him for Easter, we didn't. Why? Because he is just too young and doesn't know Easter from any other day. Let me just go ahead and say that Easter gifting has gone to an entire new level. I saw many pictures posted on Facebook that looked like it was Christmas. SAY WHAT? What happened to the days of getting an Easter basket with candy and maybe one little toy? I dunno, but Wyatt is screwed when Easter rolls around next year because I'm not all about a Christmas like Easter. I want to keep it on a scale where my boy doesn't just grow up expecting all these things just for a holiday. Don't get me wrong, he will get an Easter basket with candy and maybe a toy but it won't be like Christmas. Anyway, I'm done ranting and ready to show you his Easter pictures I took.
