Good Morning! Oh wait, it is almost afternoon. Yes, I did sleep in this morning and yes, I did come in to work just over 3 hours late. It is what my MAY is all about, really!
Anyway, I'm here to share that I am 6 weeks pregnant today! Hubby and I have still yet to tell ANYONE!! I can't believe it and I can't wait to tell our parents, siblings, friends, work, EVERYONE! I'm pretty excited about that part. PS. We don't plan to tell anyone until at least after the first doctors visit which by the way is 2 weeks from today. We have a plan for telling the parents since we won't physically be with any of them as they all live in different states than us. More on this later!
Symptoms this week include NOTHING. It is driving me bananas. I know I really should be enjoying these sick-free, feeling great days but it is hard not to worry. I do get tired but that's pretty normal for me with how busy, non-stop I am. I even took my fourth pregnancy test this morning just to make me feel better. Then I got scared with the thoughts of what am I going to do if it says I'm not. Ha! A little argument with myself before I just had to take another one again. Well, I'm still pregnant! Ha! Not much has changed with my body so no picture this week. I plan to start those maybe around 8-10 weeks.
I hope everyone has a great FRIDAY and MOTHER'S DAY on Sunday. It is my first and yes, it does count! I hope hubby realizes Father's Day is shortly after Mother's Day... if you know what I mean.
Lastly: Hubby and I are off to a fun, yet TIRING vacation to Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philly. I have fore warned him that the chance of me being sick is HUGE, the chance of me being tired is HUGE but I will do my best as we planned this trip before we got pregnant. and Hey, I've never been to any of these locations so I'm excited too and really have my fingers crossed that I don't get awful sick this week. I have packed the water bottle, saltine crackers, pretzels, and raisins for snacks along with those motion sickness bracelets to be as prepared as I can be!
The next time I post will be the Monday of the week we go to our first doctor's appointment!! EEEK!
