Today, hubby and I went in for my very first ultrasound and doctor's appointment since finding out we were pregnant. I didn't sleep AT ALL because I was so NERVOUS. My stomach hurt pretty much all night because of the nerves. I had really held in all my emotion about being pregnant because I was nervous about the results and scared for the worse. You know, you start reading all these blogs and hearing all these different stories and it can be scary. It doesn't help that pretty much the only symptoms that I have experienced are being completely and utterly exhausted with some soreness in my chest. I seriously go home at night and do nothing but fall asleep on the couch around 8:30pm - 9:00pm because hubby has been working until the wee hours of the night this week. Anyway, I'm not out of the first trimester so I do know that I'm not safe from the high risks of the first trimester BUT....
The ultrasound and doctor's appointment went GREAT. It was everything I could have asked for and more. We have a growing little butter bean that looked great and had an awesome heart beat of 172. We even got to hear the heartbeat and you could see the little flutter on the screen. It was so real and really helped the fact that I'm pregnant really sink in. We even got pictures to share...

PS. I didn't forget about our vacation but that is to come later.
