19 Week Baby Boy Bumpdate

July and August are always super busy as July is filled with camps and August begins our pre-season practice with two-a-days. Hubby also started two-a-days and we very rarely see each other. We did get lucky last night and had about an hour together. It is the small things sometimes. We've both been getting up super early which means by the time we finish our 13+ hour days, we are exhausted and just want to go to bed. So basically what I am saying is that we've talked little about names, decorations (not that he would care), and anything baby. We are both super excited about it being a boy and I couldn't resist the urge to head out to make some first purchases of baby clothes. :) I'll post some pictures this week along with our ultra sound pictures from when we found out baby was a boy.

As far as pregnancy...not much has changed since last week other than I definitely have a noticeable bump... don't ya think? My players sure like to point it out. They are equally excited to meet this little fella in January.

  • How far along? 19 weeks 1 day
  • Baby is the size of a... Heirloom Tomato
  • Total weight gain: I'm gonna guess 8-10 lbs. I'll find out Friday.
  • Maternity clothes? I decided it was time to start searching for some maternity khakis to wear for games. Well, all my life it has been pretty hard finding any kind of pants that are long enough. Try finding maternity pants that are long enough.. yea right. It seems impossible. I ordered some from Old Navy that I received today and well they are too short. They do have an inseam that I hope I can get taken out. We will see. If I don't find any, I image that I'll be wearing MOM CAPRIS. I've never wore capris but I might not have an option at this point.
  • Stretch marks? Nope, none yet. lotion at night, lotion in the morning, and lotion at work anytime I start to inch. Fingers crossed.
  • Sleep: Great. Long days = super tired which results in good sleep. Only getting up once in the middle of the night. WOOHOO!
  • Best moment this week:  baby boy movement happens daily and I love feeling the "flicks." Now I can't wait until hubby can feel them.
  • Miss anything? not really.
  • Movement: yes, little flicks! :)
  • Food cravings:  nope, just fooooood!! Baby boy stays hungry.
  • Food aversions: none really.
  • Gender: BOY!!!! BOY!!!! BOY!!!!!
  • Labor signs: nope
  • Symptoms: not really anything this week. I'm tired but so is everyone else
  • Belly Button in or out? I think I can officially say half in, half flattened. Ha!
  • Wedding rings on or off? On.
  • Baby Purchases this week? Maternity pants. Baby clothes. Mom and I have started browsing for baby bedding and trying to figure out what colors, decorations, etc.
  • Looking forward to:  20 week doctor appointment on Friday. I can't believe I will be half-way done with my first pregnancy. I can only hope that the last 20 are anywhere are pleasant and easy as the first 20. :)
