Boy? Girl? Boy? Girl?

Good Morning!!

We went to our anatomy ultrasound this morning and are proud to announce....

Everything at the ultrasound was great. Baby Boy is measuring ahead of schedule and the further along I get, the more I start think that we'll be having a December baby. I do hate the idea of having him around Christmas but I guess it is beyond my control.

• How far along? 18 weeks

• Baby is the size of a... Bell Pepper

• Total weight gain: I go for a regular doctor's appointment in 2 weeks but definitely should be up as belly is visibly growing

• Maternity clothes? none yet, but I seriously need to go get some shorts so that I can get out of athletic shorts. I have no options at this point. 

• Stretch marks? Not yet, I bought some super lotion that is suppose to help and I'm very picky about my lotion. I hate thick lotion that leaves you oily. Well, the super lotion I bought that someone recommended is anything but perfect. It is like true cocoa butter and is thicker than real butter. It leaves my stomach super greasy and nasty. It is suppose to be the amazing lotion to eliminate bad stretch marks. That being said...I use it at night right before bed and use my thin, heavenly stuff in the morning. We will see.

• Sleep: Sleep is good. It is getting a little tougher as my back starts to hurt in the mornings really bad. Definitely sleep better on my sides but starting to get uncomfortable more often.

• Best moment this week:  FINDING OUT THE BABY'S GENDER THIS MORNING!!! 

• Miss anything? walking, sitting, and bending over without tailbone pain. 

• Movement: I think I've felt a few kicks and punches. They are becoming more regular and more often felt at night. 

• Food cravings:  no, just hungry a lot. 

• Food aversions: salads

• Gender: BOY!! BOY!! BOY!!

• Labor signs: nope

• Symptoms: tailbone pain and belly button pain.... weird! 

• Belly Button in or out? It is in but not for long. 

• Wedding rings on or off? On.

• Baby Purchases this week? That super lotion was about it. It was a crazy week but I've got my credit card ready to start buying.

• Looking forward to:  buying all boy stuff. I have waited for today mostly so I can start buying gender related items... I'm so ready to spend some money!!
