Yesterday afternoon, a photographer friend of mine drove 4 LONG hours to take Chris and I's maternity pictures. (Then, she drove 4 more home afterwards...crazy long day!) Anyway, we had so much fun and she was so creative with all her poses. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to see the final pictures. She was so kind to post 2 pictures this morning from the shoot.

Lastly, I don't know which one I am more excited about... the maternity pictures or the first corner of the nursery being completed thanks to some productivity from myself and hubby tonight. I've mentioned the photos - a football, golf ball, baseball, and basketball - that I had framed and well, we just hadn't gotten around to hanging them yet until tonight. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!! I think they are so unique and the perfect touch for above the crib. When my mom was in town, she helped me make the mobile ceiling hanging thing. I love the brown and how it turned out. What do you think of the first look at the nursery. I might add that you can see the awesome shag rug in the picture too. It looks better, more colorful in person but I love the texture that it adds to the room. I haven't washed the bedding, sheets, or crib skirt so the crib looks pretty bare. I'll get to it soon enough.
