2 Months

Wyatt is officially two months old. We are headed to our 2 month check-up tomorrow morning. He will get weighed, measured, and receive his first set of shots. (Tear) I'm prepared for a crabby day tomorrow and will be going to the appointment with baby tylenol in hand. I hope it takes at least some of his pain away. Look back for some updated stats on our growing baby.

Last post I mentioned that he moved into his room in his crib and we haven't looked back. He has done great and slept for an average of about 7 hours straight when we first put him down at night. However, he moves like a worm in his crib. He is never in the same place when he wakes up in the morning. He always moves clockwise in direction. We swaddle him so he literally just scoots around in the circle without his arms.

The stomach pain/gas - I have mentioned it lately but it continues to haunt our little guy. This is why he moves so much in his crib because he is constantly arching his back which scoots him around. He pushes A LOT. He turns bright red and often cries in pain. Often times he is in so much pain, he can't fall asleep but is so exhausted. It is so sad and we are both ready to outgrow this nasty gassy. I'm planning to discuss his symptoms with the doctor to see what she thinks. I know she isn't going to be too impressed with him sleeping on his stomach for naps but honestly that is the only way to get him down for a nap. He likes the pressure on his tummy and he can curl his knees up in his chest. He is pretty good at lifting his head so I'm not too worried.

And.. photo dump from this past week...

He is in his bouncer that he loves so much. The elephant is his favorite toy on it. He sits in this while mom showers and gets ready for work in the morning.

He sure like his high chair too. He putts his feet right up and goes into relaxing mood. We out the blocks on his lap so when he kicks his legs they raddle for him. He usually stays long enough for us to eat dinner and wash the dishes.

I mohawked his hair the other night. He loved it although looks extremely tired!

Ready to fight...fight the gas as he was trying to go to sleep but kept having pain.

This morning on his play mat. He loves it and talks up a storm.
