31 Week Bumpudate

Hi! Remember Me? Yea, so I took a small break from the blog... unintentionally, I promise. I have thought about my missing 30 week post all week and it kinda bothers me. In the end, it hasn't bothered me enough to post it and I have now decided to just skip it. However, I did get my 30 week picture taken and I will post that but as far as the questions.. no luck!

Let me explain my absence because it is a good excuse. We traveled last weekend. We left Saturday morning and flew back Sunday evening for one match. It was a long trip for just two days. Anyway, we arrived back home around 11:30pm Sunday night and the nausea hit me like I ran flat into a brick wall. It was all of a sudden and I felt horrible. I made it home and went straight to bed. An hour later, I would sleep no more. I woke up with a BAD stomach virus. Every thirty minutes, I was jumping out of bed...needless to say, I was nasty sick on Monday and so was hubby... two different things but we were pathetic. :) He was so good to me too by running to get me crackers, sprite, Gatorade, and later my medicine my doctor called in. I was able to go to work for a couple of hours on Tuesday but was just exhausted. Tuesday night, hubby started feeling sick... this time my kind of sick... I had given him my stomach virus! YUCK!! He stayed home Wednesday for most of the day but ended up going in for a couple hours later in the day. I got home Wednesday and lysoled everything and washed the sheets. I was so threw with this stomach virus. Ha! Anyway, my parents came Thursday. We had a nice dinner out and played spades. It was fun as we use to play cards all the time but now they live to far so we play when we can.


My mom, sister-in-law, and boss threw me a baby shower yesterday. It was so AWESOME, so much FUN, and so many people came out to support Chris and I while bringing amazing gifts for baby Wyatt. He is one lucky little man that already has 15 girlfriends that I know love him (my team) along with their parents and all our family and friends...so much support and love that it was overwhelming. Yesterday was a BLAST and we are so blessed. I was exhausted at the end of the day. All the gifts made it into my car and into the front door where they still lay.. here's a few pictures from Saturday...

The santa size bag is full of clothes, blankets, stuffed animals, and more!! Now, we just have to go through everything, wash it, and put it away.

Here's an updated COUNTDOWN.. All single digits.. WOOT WOOT!

• CHECK -  HALLOWEEN
• CHECK -  BABY OUREN'S BABY SHOWER
• 3 weeks until THANKSGIVING
• 6 weeks until Wyatt is considered FULL TERM
• 7.5 weeks until CHRISTMAS
• 8.5 weeks until NEW YEARS
• 9 weeks until DUE DATE

Now, it is Sunday so that means BUMPDATE (unless after last week's lack of post you lost all confidence in me then shame on you)

• How far along? 31 weeks 2 days... 9 to go until due day! 

• Baby is the size of a... Pineapple!

• Total weight gain: probably about 30.. 

• Maternity clothes? Yes sir, a lot of my elastic pants are getting tight and uncomfortable... sadness! 

• Stretch marks? nope, none yet!!! 

• Sleep: every since I got over the sickness, I've been sleeping great! I probably average 10 to 11 hours a night. Ha! crazy huh? Plus, we got an extra hour last night.. woot woot! It was weird that it was dark by 6:00pm. It felt so late. 

• Best moment this week:  having my baby shower and having my parents in town!! :) 

• Miss anything? working out, being able to get somewhere quickly like if I'm in a hurry, bending over and picking things up, being able to tie my shoes, clothes fitting better... should I go on? 

• Movement: yes, yes, yes... I love it! 

• Food cravings:  not much of anything... I've been eating way too many sweets! ugh!  I can never say no! 

• Food aversions: salads

• Gender: BOY!!!! BOY!!!! BOY!!!!

• Labor signs: nope but been feeling the braxton hicks contractions... usually late at night. 

• Symptoms: back, ya know... same ole same ole

• Belly Button in or out? ok, so I don't know if it will ever fully flatten out. It has been the same... half in, half out... for about 3-4 weeks now.. 

• Wedding rings on or off? off, off, off! So very glad I took them off too... sorta. I had a real active, busy day on Friday and ended up with swollen hands and ankles. sexy, right?

• Baby Purchases this week? bought some stuff for the nursery that I am waiting on in the mail.. I'm anticipating like 4 packages... come on!!! 

• Looking forward to:  continuing to make progress on the nursery. I'm ready to for everything to be complete... maybe by the end of November. :) or even better... by the time Hubby's mom comes to visit which is the week of Thanksgiving. I gotta get busy! Next appointment is a week from Wednesday.. I'll be 33 weeks and will then start my every 2 week appointments! Baby Wyatt is so close but so far away!
