Our little man is one whole week old today. He has had a good first week so far by eating good, gaining weight, and lots of pooping and peeing. He loves his swing and loves to cuddle up next to us. He hates being swaddled tightly and have his arms restricted. He has only given us one bad night (last night) where he didn't want to sleep at all so it was rough. Of course then he has slept like a champion today. We've both spent much of the day snuggled on the couch trying to caught up. Here we are...
We are experiencing a serious heat wave where it got in the 70s today, needless to say we've been hot so that explains my clothes-less/ blanket-less baby. He is just so sweet.
Since I'm all about documenting progress.. ya know with the pregnancy growth and now the aftermath of losing the weight. (I do it in hopes that it will keep me motivated to get back to where I started.) Unfortunately, I don't have a scale at home so I haven't weighed myself since having him but I will soon. I did get my wedding rings back on Wednesday. I was impressed and oh so HAPPY to have them back. Other than that, I'm healing nicely and becoming more comfortable every day. I've even showered every day too. ha! Anyway, here is my 1 week postpartum belly picture..
