Induction Day

We headed to our appointment today with my regular doctor and what do you guess? My blood pressure was still right on the border of being a concern to not a concern. The first measurement is always high and the 4th is usually lower.. not normal but lower.   I still carry no other signs but because my blood pressure has been high for a consistent four weeks now, she decided it was best to go ahead and schedule a date... Friday, January 4th at 8:00am, I will begin the induction process... His due date!! I'm definitely more okay with the idea of an induction than I thought I would be. I kinda accepted the fact that my mom had to be induced with her first so I was probably headed down the same road since we've had very similar first pregnancy experiences. I was also dilated to 3cm and 50% effaced (thinned). He is sitting low at a -2. I think it is a good start for Friday. Who knows... he could always decide to come sooner. I'd be okay with that too.
