Little Baby Ouren: 1st Doctor's Appt

Wyatt, Daddy, and I headed to the Wyatt's first doctor's appointment this morning. We got there and he got a little fussy in the waiting room but nothing too serious. We were called back and that's when the real screams happened. They stripped him down for his weight, height, and temperature. He doesn't like being naked in a cold room...really, who would? His weight is still down from birth but up from when we left the hospital at 8 lbs. 13 ozs. We got a new diaper on him and headed to wait for the doctor.

Now the real story begins...

We waited for a pretty long time so I started nursing to calm him down and geez it was feeding time in his mind. Anyway, the doctor came in and went through the discharge paperwork while I continued to nurse. Wyatt lets out three huge, smelly fart noises and ultimately ruins his diaper we just put on him. I continued to nurse until I start to feel wet... yelp, my first time of many of being pooped on. We changed his diaper and got out a new blanket because that one was poopy too. So now it is time for the doctor to start her exam on him. She proceeds to take off his diaper to exam his man parts and pees all over. I'm sure he was laughing in the inside until she restarted her checking when he then decided to let out another juicy poop.. now I know he was laughing his butt off inside now. He had managed to pee and poop on the doctor... pay back!! Daddy and I change him yet again and change his blanket because he peed all over the blanket.

3 diapers and 3 blankets later, Wyatt's doctor report checked out good. His jaundice levels (which weren't a huge concern to do treatment on) were elevated but lower than when he left the hospital. Good news! Other than that, he is eating good, peeing great, and pooping like a champion.
