35 Week Bumpdate!

Here's to a VERY productive weekend. We got like 90% of our Christmas shopping done! Woohoo! We also hung our outside Christmas lights yesterday morning along with trimming our bushes out there. I love productivity. We are currently renting a townhouse and we decorated the entire outside with color lights. I'm not sure of the neighborhood rules but I'm waiting for a letter on the door saying we can't have them. It would be a shame if that does happen because our neighborhood could use some Christmas spirit as not many people seem to decorate. I guess it is still early and everyone isn't expecting a new baby for Christmas. I'll give them another week to get with it. Ha!

Here's an updated COUNTDOWN..

• CHECK - THANKSGIVING
• 2 weeks until Wyatt is considered FULL TERM
• 3.5 weeks until CHRISTMAS
• 4.5 weeks until NEW YEARS
• 5 weeks until DUE DATE

WHOA!! I am all down to one hand...EEKK!

35 WEEK BUMPDATE:

 

• How far along? 35 weeks 2 days... 2-5 to go! CRAZY!! Everything looked good at the doctor's appointment. Just in case you missed the appointment post, he is weighing in at 6 pounds and in the 80% of babies. He has some hair on his head and long toes. :) I did find out that we will not set an induction date unless I go to 41 weeks. So no matter what, Wyatt will be in this world no later than January 11th!! I'm more than okay with this. I actually didn't want to be induced and want to go into labor naturally. I'd rather not know when he is coming than to be anxiously waiting for that day and time to get here. I would no longer sleep and probably just stress for no reason. 

• Baby is the size of a... Coconut!  - Although I am measuring a full 2 weeks ahead this week. Funny because at my 33 week appointment I was measuring right on schedule...now two weeks ahead. So basically I grew a month's worth or growing in 2 weeks. Thanks, Thanksgiving!! 

• Total weight gain: officially just under 40... thank god I'm not someone who stresses over this. I feel very confident that I will be able to get it all off with hard work post-baby!! I'm pretty determined to get my pre-baby body back.. It maybe wasn't that great before but it was way better than now...expected! 

• Maternity clothes? yes, I really only have two pairs of jeans and about 6 cute shirts so I have been wearing those out. Ya know, with different scarves and accessories to make them look different. Ha! :) I'm not buying anything else as Christmas is near and baby is almost here.. my spending needs to take a rest! 

• Stretch marks? I don't think so.. however.. I might just be getting one under my belly button. It isn't official yet but maybe. I'm keeping an eye on him... not like I can do anything more than lotion to TRY and prevent more. 

• Sleep: Great! I love sleeping. It is funny because the blogs that I follow pretty much all complain about sleeping.. I have ZERO problem. AH thank goodness. However, the back pain is what keeps me complaining the most. I don't know which I'd rather have...back pain or sleeping problems??

• Best moment this week:  hearing that I'm measuring ahead was pretty good news. I feel like that means he could come at any point because that would put him at full term and he'd be okay. It will be interesting how I measure in two weeks again. I also scheduled all my appointments through my due date. Crazy! I also LOVED seeing him on the ultrasound again. I'm sure that is the last ultrasound and the next time I see him will be holding him in my arms. YAY! 

• Miss anything? being comfortable... this back never seems to be relieved unless I'm laying in bed.. and well if I lay in bed.. I fall asleep. It isn't like I could watch TV or a movie. I'd be out! 

• Movement: yes, yes, yes... little legs and arms poking out to the sides.. up in the ribs... he gets hiccups daily if not multiple times a day. 

• Food cravings:  um.. not much of anything... just food. I stay hungry! Spaghetti is for dinner and I can't wait!

• Food aversions: salads

• Gender: BOY!!!! BOY!!!! BOY!!!! Wyatt Christopher Ouren!!

• Labor signs: I've definitely started noticing Braxton Hicks contraction way more than usual. At night mostly and boy does my stomach get tight.

• Symptoms: someone told me the other day that once he is delivered, the back pain immediately goes away... I liked that comment and can only hope! 

• Belly Button in or out? half out and half still barely in.. 

• Wedding rings on or off? off, off, off! I think about them regularly! I did get them on Friday night when we went to dinner with some friends. I just missed them.

• Baby Purchases this week? we bought the final purchase for the nursery.. a floor lamp. I also bought some nursing tops and we took advantage of a sale at Carter's.

• Looking forward to: Getting the house and ourselves ready. I am fully prepared to do some top to bottom cleaning and packing of our hospital bags now that we are both done traveling until this baby comes.
