37 Weeks - Full Term

A quick 37 weeks Bumpdate as we are off to Grandma's house this morning for Christmas!! I'm pretty pumped to see everyone and especially my parents. It will also officially be the last time hubby and I leave Birmingham. No worries though, it is a quick hour and half drive. I think I'll survive...I hope. 

Here's an updated COUNTDOWN...

• CHECK - Wyatt is considered FULL TERM
• 1.5 weeks until CHRISTMAS (9 days)
  
• 2.5 weeks until NEW YEARS (16 days)
  
• 3 weeks until DUE DATE - January 4th! (19 days)
  
• 4 weeks until Doctor will induce if I'm STILL pregnant - January 11th! (26 days)

• How far along? 37 weeks 2 day... 3 to go!!! 

• Baby is the size of a... Wintermelon... hmmm?

• Total weight gain: 45ish... yikes!! Oh well, 9 months gaining and so I expect to have some time to get it off.

• Maternity clothes? oh yes, by far the most comfortable. Also, hubby's clothes and somehow I couldn't find hubby's sweatpants so finally he revealed their location to me... YES!!!

• Stretch marks? whomp...whomp.. yelp.. but I'm still lotioning like crazy.

• Sleep: good for the most part... my back never hurt laying down until Thursday night.. I rolled and rolled starting at about 4am because my back hurt so bad. 

• Best moment this week:  I had a fairly good doctor's appointment Wednesday. Fairly good only because my blood pressure was high at the beginning of the appointment. Doc ordered for it to be taken again at the end and it had gone down, still a little high but lower than 20 minutes before. I'm anxious to see if it is high again next week at my appointment. The nurse keeps saying he's a big boy and well I guess it is true when I'm still measuring 2 weeks ahead, 39 weeks. His heartbeat was lower than past appointments at 130 but my appointment was also later than normal.. maybe we caught him during a nap. Ha! Oh, and I'm dilated to 1-2 cm.. that's progress but I'm not getting to wrapped up in the number because he could still be cooking in 3 weeks. Ha! 

• Miss anything? mostly just working out and being comfortable. 

• Movement: yes, yes, yes... my belly dances!!

• Food cravings:  FINALLY.. the clementines at the grocery store actually looked good enough to buy..I'm addicted!! YUM!

• Food aversions: salads

• Gender: BOY!!!! BOY!!!! BOY!!!! Wyatt Christopher Ouren!!

• Labor signs:  Braxton Hicks contraction at night mostly and boy does my stomach get tight....

• Symptoms: I've just felt different this week... It is hard to explain. I've started to just ache and seem really tired. I get out of breathe really easily and I'm sure it is because there is little room for me to breathe in there. I've been more emotional and just weird as far as my mood. My back didn't use to hurt laying down but has started to hurt pretty much all the time.. sometimes more manageable than others. I'm thinking I'm in for it as far as back labor which is scary because from what I read back labor can be hard to detect and well hurt a lot worse. Don't get my wrong, I'm sure it hurts no matter what.

• Belly Button in or out? it is pretty flat and awkward!!

• Wedding rings on or off? off, off, off! not going to go back on until after he arrives. 

• Baby Purchases this week? nothing this week.. We are done buying until he arrives.

• Looking forward to: Christmas at Grandma's house!! :) Gotta RUN!!!
